Operations belong beside storage
Google Cloud Storage pricing includes operations in addition to stored GiB. Class A and Class B operation rates vary by class and location, and retrieval, replication, and egress can apply. A bucket estimate that only uses GiB-months can understate an active workload.
For an illustrative month, price 10 million Class A operations, 100 million Class B operations, 250 GiB of retrieval, and 5,000 GiB of stored data as separate quantities. Apply the current table for the bucket’s storage class and location. Request counts should come from metrics or logs, not a guess based only on object count.
The Cloud Storage Cost Calculator models only regional capacity charges in Iowa; use it for the storage subtotal and Google’s table for access charges. Recheck lifecycle actions too: transitions and deletions can create operations and invoke minimum-duration rules.
