Storage is not analysis
BigQuery pricing has distinct compute and storage components, with additional services such as streaming and BI Engine subject to their own rules. Build storage as average stored GiB-months under the applicable billing model, then add query bytes processed independently.
For a dataset averaging 8,000 GiB for a month, price 8,000 GiB-months using the verified storage rate. A query that scans 4 TiB is a separate analysis quantity. Deleting data, partition expiration, and long-term storage eligibility can change the storage line, but do not claim a discount without confirming Google’s conditions.
