Practical guide
CloudFront vs Cloud CDN: estimate delivery cost
Estimate CDN delivery cost by separating cacheable bytes, requests, and regional billing assumptions.

Start with identical traffic
Compare the same 30-day byte volume, request count, cache-hit assumption, region, and currency on both sides. A hypothetical 10 TB delivery month and 100 million HTTPS requests should be entered with the same units before looking at provider totals.
What changes the result
CDN prices vary by delivery geography, request type, cache behavior, and attached services. The comparison calculator exposes its modeled inputs; it does not infer cache hits from page views or include origin compute, storage, TLS certificates, or logging unless the page says so.
FAQ
Is the cheaper CDN always better?
No. Confirm cache invalidation, origin integration, observability, security controls, and the locations your users actually need.
Are these vendor quotes?
No. Use current official price pages and retain the date and assumptions with the scenario.
